I think these are called Christmas Trees. They disappear back into their stems if they're disturbed.

It looks like you had a great time. Did you have a better camera this time than last? Or is the water just a lot more clear when there's no hurricane nearby?
We rented a digital camera on Wednesday -- our film camera flooded the first dive, this time. Not good. I also adjusted the color a bit in PhotoShop! Visibility was up and down, but Wednesday was pretty decent. We did one of our prettiest dives (Valley of the Kings) that day.
The place where I get my film developed is closed yesterday and today, so it'll be awhile before I get those images up on my blog. We visited the Mayan ruins at Copan, and I have high hopes for having gotten some amazing pictures there!
